So I thought it would be a cool diversion from the seriousness of the guides to introduce some sort of war diary blogs to my site.

The mighty American Heavy Tanks are too mighty?

The standing joke in World of Tanks right now is how weak the American tanks are. With guns that are low penetration, low damage with fast reload speed being their only positive offensive point and subpar armour protection on the hull... could they possibly nerf these tanks even further?

The maintenance works are scheduled for November 11, 4:00 am EST / 9:00 am UTC.

Reason: updating game servers to v.0.6.1.5

Estimated downtime: up to 8 hours. (At time of posting, the WoT servers have been down for 3 1/2 hours.)

Notice: No daily server restart is scheduled for November 11.

Well, on  21st October 2010 the US servers for World of Tanks went down for a patch... the long awaited 0.5.5.1 patch had arrived, bringing a couple of minor balance fixes and most importantly... two new maps.
